Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Big Data Trainer to deliver online training sessions focused on Big Data technologies. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of Hadoop, Spark, data processing, and storage techniques, with the ability to guide students through real-world applications of Big Data tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Engaging Big Data Training: Conduct interactive sessions covering essential Big Data technologies, including Hadoop, Spark, and other data processing platforms.
• Develop Comprehensive Content: Create effective training materials, practical exercises, and assessments to reinforce Big Data concepts.
• Use Real-World Scenarios: Integrate case studies and examples to illustrate Big Data applications in various industries.
• Guide Hands-On Projects: Assist learners in building and optimizing data pipelines and storage solutions, preparing them for real-world scenarios.
• Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Regularly update course content with the latest advancements in Big Data technology.
• Offer Personalized Feedback: Provide individualized support and feedback to help learners overcome challenges and build confidence in their skills.
• Collaborate with SkillzRevo: Work closely with the SkillzRevo team to customize training for corporate clients and specific industry needs.

Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience in a Big Data Engineer, Data Engineer, or similar role with practical expertise in Hadoop, Spark, and data processing techniques.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Big Data platforms such as Hadoop, Spark, HDFS, and knowledge of ETL processes and data pipeline optimization.
• Practical Knowledge: Hands-on experience in building, managing, and optimizing large-scale data solutions.
• Communication Skills: Ability to simplify complex Big Data topics and communicate them effectively to a diverse audience.
• Training Experience: Prior experience in online or corporate training is preferred.
• Adaptability: Ability to tailor content for learners with varying levels of experience and technical backgrounds.
• Organizational Skills: Strong time-management and organization abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications: Certifications in Big Data technologies, such as Cloudera or Hortonworks.
• Additional Skills: Familiarity with cloud-based data storage solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure) is an advantage.
• Experience with Large Datasets: Proficiency in handling and analyzing complex, large-scale datasets.
