The Social Media Marketing Executive will support the social media team in creating and executing content across various social media platforms. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing and to learn about the latest trends and strategies in the industry.
Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
Create, schedule, and publish content on social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok).
Produce high-quality, engaging, and visually appealing content (text, images, videos) for social media posts.
Collaborate with designers and content creators to ensure brand consistency.
Monitor social media accounts for comments, messages, and mentions, and engage with the audience in a timely and professional manner.
Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences to inform content creation.
Support the creation of multimedia content, including graphics, videos, and blog posts.
Help track and analyze social media performance using analytics tools, and prepare reports on key metrics.
Foster positive engagement and build relationships with followers and influencers.
Analyze social media metrics and generate reports to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
Use data-driven insights to refine social media strategies and content.
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
Experiment with new content formats and strategies to keep our social media presence fresh and innovative.
Plan and execute social media advertising campaigns to support marketing initiatives.
Monitor ad performance and optimize campaigns for maximum ROI.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for social media campaigns.
Assist in managing social media advertising campaigns.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with major social media platforms and their best practices.
Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Proficient in using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
Basic understanding of social media analytics and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva).
Knowledge of social media advertising (e.g., Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads).
Previous internship or freelance experience in social media management.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
